Incorporation
Business incorporation in Mississauga: a complete guide
2026-04-01 · 6 min read · Tax Everyday, Vaughan
Mississauga companies often start because a shipper, a franchise, or a commercial landlord near Pearson wants the tenant to be a corporation. That is a fine reason. It is not a reason to invent three share classes you do not understand.
Order of operations
The fee for the named incorporation through Tax Everyday is $950 + HST. Government disbursements, if any are extra, are confirmed before filing. The form is online; you do not need to drive to Vaughan unless you want to.
- Decide Ontario versus federal. Provincial is the default if the business lives in the GTA.
- Run the name. A NUANS report is the search; “we checked Google” is not.
- Registered office. Many owners use their tax specialist’s address or a real office, never a mailbox.
- Directors and the incorporator. One person can be both in a typical private company.
- Shares. Unlimited common shares, voting, with a private-company transfer restriction, fits most first companies.
- Certificate, then bank, then CRA business number. Add an HST account when you cross $30,000 of taxable supplies or when your customers need the registration sooner.
